Rock music is dominating the Broadway stage and screen. 

Cyndi Lauper is writing a musical. So is Sting, Regina Spektor, the Barenaked Ladies, Melissa Etheridge, and Sheryl Crow...not to mention the jukebox musicals with PINKS music,  and the music of Tupak Shakur. These musicals, and The Voice, American Idol, Glee, and The Glee project all want you to sing a hit from the radio for their auditions.

But all you know how to sing are show tunes.  Now what?

Join master teacher Sheri Sanders for an afternoon dedicated to the pop/rock audition.  Sheri will teach you everything you need to learn about what it takes to master auditioning for a genre of music and Musical Theatre which has no formal training. Till now.

Actress, teacher, and author Sheri Sanders is touring worldwide to teach teachers, students, and aspiring actors how to choose, cut, arrange, research, style, and act songs on the radio to successfully audition for rock musicals. Sanders' performance techniques have brought her students to not only the Broadway stage, touring companies, and regional productions of Rock of Ages, Sister Act, Mamma Mia, American Idiot, Spiderman, Wicked, Rent, Hairspray (to name a few) and the workshops of Fat Camp, Cyndi Lauper's Kinki Boots, Sting's The Last Ship, and Regina Spektor's Beauty, but also to television shows including American Idol, The Glee Project, The X Factor, and the Rock of Ages movie. As the only coach to bridge the gap between popular music and theatre, Sanders' book, Rock the Audition: How to Prepare for and Get Cast in Rock Musicals (Hal Leonard Books) and her workshops are changing the face of auditioning for musical theatre on the stage and screen.  http://www.sheri-sanders.com
