
Celebrities Gathered to Raise Funds and Awareness for the Catastrophic Health Fund and Assistance Programs
There was golfing for a cause Monday at the Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank for the 3rd Annual Los Angeles Golf Classic. The event was presented by the SAG Foundation and sponsored by Integrated Wealth Management. Those in attendance included Kiefer Sutherland, Ray Romano, Joe Pesci, and Joel McHale.
On May 25th, the SAG Foundation's BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) and Broadway Serves! read to a pre-k class at PS 111 in Manhattan. This special literacy event enabled Broadway performers to join BookPALS and help spread the magic of reading in schools. Taking time off the Broadway stage, Kimberly Marable (currently in Sister Act and co-founder of Broadway Serves!) and Jonny Wu (currently in Chinglish) brought the story of COUNTDOWN TO KINDERGARTEN by Allison McGhee to life.
