Internships
College Students:
The SAG Foundation’s internship program allows college students to receive school credit by assisting with general office administration, special projects and event management. In the Foundation’s encouraging environment, students learn about the entertainment industry with first-hand experience.
Students with Disabilities:
In partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, the Foundation’s program designed for youth with disabilities gives job skills training to students ages 14 to 21. This unique internship program works with entertainment and related industry leaders and employers to create much-needed training and employment opportunities for special students.
Since the year 2000 these highly capable individuals have worked with various departments of the Screen Actors Guild, in a comfortable and nurturing setting which introduces familiarity with the workplace and professional social behavior. These students have demonstrated a degree of responsibility and competence which continues to impress everyone who has worked with them.
