CAP - Los Angeles

Casting Access Project chosen by Backstage West "Best Way to Meet Casting Directors in Los Angeles!"

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is pleased to present The Casting Access Project (CAP), an exciting program which offers Guild members access to cold reading workshops with qualified casting professionals at no cost. Made possible in partnership with the support of the Screen Actors Guild Producers Industry Advancement and Cooperative Fund, The Casting Access Project provides members with the opportunity to meet and learn from respected casting directors.

You must be a paid-up, eligible SAG member eighteen years of age or older to attend CAP Events unless otherwise noted. Seating is extremely limited on a first-come, first-serve basis, no walk-ins are admitted, and eligibility will be verified.

To attend CAP Workshops, you must first complete a CAP Orientation Packet available four times a year. Please check the website regularly for updates (at bottom of this page).

Once announced, the workshops and orientation packet sign-ups will be listed under Upcoming Events.

Those members who have successfully reserved a seat for a Workshop will receive a confirmation e-mail prior to the event.  Walk-ins will not be admitted.

Please be reminded that the CAP Orientation is NOT an actual physical event, but an application procedure detailed in the "CAP Orientation Packet" that can be completed at one's own discretion.

Attention CAP Participants: Please read event info prior to registering for any workshops. Also, you may sign up for only one frequency-restricted workshop at a time. In the event of multiple registrations, the higher-placing CAP registration will be retained and all others will be deleted.
