Emergency Assistance
Emergency assistance grants to eligible SAG members have always been a priority for the Guild and the Foundation. The Foundation provides funds for the aid, relief and care of members in times of need. No membership dues are used in the funding of Foundation grants.
When assistance is needed, it is given quickly and compassionately, always maintaining strict confidentiality and dignity for each recipient. During the commercials strike, over one million dollars was given to members facing financial crisis.
