Services and Policies

We’re proud to offer the Actors Center as a home for SAG Foundation events, such as Conversations interviews and film screenings, LifeRaft seminars that focus on the business of acting and Casting Access Project workshops with casting industry professionals. However, the Actors Center also offers a host of other benefits to the artistic community, as a resource for working actors eager to shape and build their careers.

The Computer and A/V Lab allows Guild members access to professional programs and websites as well as audio and visual equipment for work on reels and demos. Reservations for 30- to 90-minute timeslots are encouraged as usage cannot be guaranteed on a walk-in basis. The Library provides access to plays and books on acting and the film industry. We invite actors to make use of the Library and further their educations in a comfortable learning environment. For Actors Center Library policy information, click here.

The Video Library is comprised of interviews from the Foundation’s Conversations series, which invites high-profile industry professionals to share their industry experiences with Guild member audiences, and the Legacy Documentation Project, which spotlights veteran actors and Guild staff instrumental in shaping the growth of the entertainment industry.
