Actors Center

Passion becomes purpose at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation Actors Center, a one-of-a-kind resource center designed to help Guild actors build and manage their careers, located on the mezzanine level of 5757 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036.

In addition to serving as home base for SAG Foundation program events, the Actors Center’s multi-purpose room, classroom and library offer learning spaces to visitors eager to hone their skills and increase the knowledge they need as working actors.

A computer lab makes it easy for actors to design and update their resumes and participate in online casting websites. State-of-the-art scriptwriting, video and audio editing software is available for use.

The library provides access to plays and books on acting and the film industry. A DVD library of our filmed Conversations and LifeRaft events is available for viewing at the Center.

A comfortable lounge provides a social space and networking area.

The Donor Wall prominently displays the names of those benefactors whose exceptional generosity has helped make this effort possible.

The Actors Center opened during the summer of 2008. Actor services will be available Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm. Friday from noon to 4pm. Events will be held from 10 am to 10 pm.
